She’s your friend, confidant, go-getter and big, big balm
to the wedding shopping-related anxieties..

- Akanksha Pandey, bride

Background

I began my career with a pressing need to find my voice in fashion. Working as the fashion
editor at Marie Claire India magazine gave me the confidence to look at style analytically.

During this stint, I styled many editorial covers and later served as a personal stylist to top Bollywood celebrities. But the search to find my true self proved elusive.

Untill Bridelan came along in 2014.

With it. I knew I had found my home.

It was the beginning of a long journey to strengthen what I have always believed was my hidden passion — styling real people and elevating the beauty of innately stylish women to a realm of unparalleled elegance and charm. It has been a fulfilling path, one that continues to inspire me every day.

ABOUT NISHA

I was born and raised in small town India with parents from big
cities like Bombay and Calcutta. The women in my life were my
fashion educators. My grandmother was a vision of cool.
The one to wear a classic camel trench with a burgundy sari in front
of Buckingham Palace. It’s an image that stays in my mind.
My mother is the most stunning woman in town, always the best
dressed at any party. Never flashy or ostentatious. She showed her
wealth with her ‘taste.’ Subconsciously, perhaps, the matriarchal
modern style rubbed off.

I have used the wisdom to learn on the job and that learning will never stop. I live and love to work in a box that is my mind. I married an art writer who I met on my first job where I was an art writer in 2005. We are also married to our work, which means we give it our all.
I often tell my clients, “I am a better cook than a stylist.” They do take me seriously. I am a family girl and now a proud dog parent. My two-year-old golden retriever is the one reason why I don’t like to be on the phone.

Lots of love Nisha

qq

We love Nisha and her team, couldn’t do without her 5 years ago and couldn’t do without her this year in 2023 for Pooja’s wedding. Bridelan has serviced both my daughter's wedding… every member of my family is wearing outfits shopped with them.

- Reena Nandi, mother of the bride New York

Thank you for working so hard to curate each of our wedding looks. Also for making me and Justin feel so special and taken care of.

- Kamakshi Sharma, bride New York

She's your friend, confidant, go-getter and big, big balm to the anxieties of wedding shopping.

- Akanksha Pandey, bride Bangalore

It was a delight to meet Nisha (Kundnani of Bridelan) and discover that she echoes our firm belief that style is not about the latest trends or designers. Nisha heard ” Us.” That was most heartening and put us at ease and inspired confidence. She delivered exactly what we wanted… style that was authentic and aspirational.

AYAZ

Nisha’s most favourite person in the world, for her life and for her company. Not every role can be strongly defined. He’s the shaper of Bridelan’s unique voice and vision. Being an astute and most credible journalist, Ayaz has spearheaded the literary identity of Bridelan’s cult Instagram @bridelanindia.

SORAYA

A senior stylist. We fondly call her ‘Raya.’ She has a gift to read into people, is always a vision of calm and kindness is her second skin. She’s petite and soft-spoken but as they say, big things come in small packages. She’s the biggest and most honest dog lover this side of the Indian ocean. Brides love her sense of ‘care’ and being there to help guide through the intricate process.

PRACHI

Our studio manager. She holds everything together. An all-rounder, multi-tasker and the most loyal friend. She’s the production backbone of Bridelan, who has a refined knowledge of textiles, embroideries and crafts. Yet, she’s the happiest when unboxing couture clothes and making sure they reach our brides with much love from India.

NOVEMBER

A part of life, home, work and beyond. A pandemic puppy whose formative childhood was spent indoors. So he quickly learnt to make humans his best friends. November is a ball of fur, energy and crazy love. To say that he’s the deepest and sweetest love of our life is a big understatement.

The thought, heart and effort

Bridelan puts into

their work is unmatchable.
